When you’ve been around the Internet as long as Denise and I have, you get a little jaded – well, okay, we’re down right skeptical about "get rich quick" claims, you know those emails that promise big easy bucks with just a few mouse clicks?
We’ve seen just about every scam that has floated around the Internet from one con artist to the other. So when a trusted colleague sent us this email about a great report for only $7 that made over $3,000 in just 7 days, we just laughed and said, “yeah, right!”
I went to the guy’s sales page, and my immediate reaction was this:
1. The guy’s photo shows he’s young (so I’m thinking, he’s way too young to know a lot!)
2. He offered proof right up front showing his PayPal accounts – which I usually think are rigged, and besides, why would someone need to show proof right off the bat like that?
3. The product only costs $7, so it would be easy to buy, but would I kick myself afterwards for spending $7 to get information that I already knew?
I almost bought his report because the sales letter was well written and made sense, but I’ve been burned so many times, I said, “heck no!”
Long story short, today I spoke with my colleague who repeated her praise for the $7 report and said there were some fantastic ideas in it and was well worth the tiny investment.
In fact, she said it revealed a new affiliate model that we could replicate so we, and anyone who purchased the report, could earn revenue too.
Here’s what else she said about this report:
1. It is easy to read; filled with valuable information for anyone who is planning on
creating information products. With today’s overload of information, many people want easy to read, high content documents.
2. Not only does the author talk about affiliate programs and their value, the eBook is a living example of what he writes about. (This is a subtlety that some people might not even notice – so you may want to read the report more than once)
3. The author shows through example and explanation how beneficial affiliate campaigns
can be.
4.There is great information on a unique way to build an opt-in list. Not only is the information given, the report itself is the living proof this works.
5. The author gives excellent information on product pricing structures and why a low priced item (a $7 item) works so well to introduce people to one’s information.
6. The author also explains why you are better off charging a little bit rather than giving the eBook away. He explains that even though there are affiliate links embedded throughout, by charging a little bit, you create value for your affiliates to make it available to their market.
We were sold. And our colleague was right. There is really good information in the report and it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.
If you have been thinking of developing information products, or you already have some and are struggling to sell them, I think you’ll learn a lot from this report. I hope you will click on this link, read the sales page and spend $7, because it makes more sense than
almost anything I have read in some time.
Because Denise and I have been making our living exclusively from the Internet and information products for some time now, we found this report incredibly easy to understand and implement. It’s given us some great ideas on how to leverage a lot of our content. We overcame our initial skepticism and actually did learn something new and valuable that we can implement right away to grow our business. Although we didn’t make $3000 in 7 days, we did make $700, and that’s always nice to have, non? You can do this too…
