How does content marketing with a blog turn into profits?
How do you turn readers into customers who buy or hire you?
How does participating in social media sites like Twitter and Facebook and LinkedIn get results in terms of new clients?
It's one thing to come up with fresh blog content that educates and entertains readers. It's another thing to sustain that energy that it takes to frequently post on your blog… especially if you're not seeing the money right away.
Stay on track with conversion goals by asking and answering these 5 questions each time you blog…
- What is the problem readers struggle with that I can solve?
- Why hasn't this problem been successfully solved once and for all?
- What's the real challenge, what are the underlying issues?
- What has to change for the problem to go away, for things to be truly different and better?
- What small step or action should readers take now to start solving this problem?
If you're not focusing on solutions to problems, writing with an in-depth look at the underlying issues, you're not showing your true expertise. And you're probably not gaining the trust you need from readers to have full confidence in your solutions and suggested action steps.
If you're not showing you know and care about the problems because of your clients' and your own experiences, you're not revealing your passion and emotional involvement. If you don't show this, how can you expect readers to care?
This is truly what turns readers into clients: True connection, honesty, trust, care, engagement.
What do you think about this? I'm interested in learning your own experiences with getting results with the content you publish.
